The Corn Mother, Spirit of the Grain

The Corn Mother is a fresh take with deep-rooted symbolism. She embodies the ancient grain goddess Ceres and the spirit of the harvest. Representing femininity, fertility, and abundance, she is made from UK grown wheat and oats, spiral braided arms, and an abundant skirt adorned with a straw bow. She pays homage to the historical harvest trophies crafted from the final stems of the grain reaped from the fields.

The design measuring 35-40 cm high and made from 80- 100 stems of Maris Widgeon wheat and golden oats.
