The sweetheart is a traditional design known as a love knot or courting favour it is a woven symbol of love. Such weaving's were and important part of rural customs made as a declaration of ones tie to another. My version is made with 16 stems of wheat and is decorated with a satin ribbon bow and scented lavender. It measures approx 20cm long and 15cm wide. You can choose your preferred ribbon colour in the options section.
