This beautiful and intricate original design is a representation of the ancient Solar Cross symbol.
80 stems of wheat are plaited using the Shropshire fringe technique to create the circle and centre cross made using tied straws. The design is finished with a gods eye motif.
The piece measures 30cm in diameter.
