Love Amulet with Rose Petals & Hawthorn berries

This woven straw spiral encases a blend of dried rose petals and hawthorn berries. Both plants are used in traditional folk magic for their powers and symbolism for Love. The Hawthorn tree is a significant tree in British and European folk magic and is used in love charms and spells to 'open the heart'. The Rose was the sacred plant of Venus the goddess of love and its connection and symbolism to romantic love goes back centuries. Rose petals are used in magic workings for all aspects of love, to both offer love or attract it.

As the spiral is woven from UK grown wheat I add the blended herbs into the qcenter of the spiral which the acts as the perfect capsule. The spiral is finished with a petal cap and hung around the neck with a waxed cotton cord, you can chose the colour of both in the ordering process.

The amulet is beautifully presented in a linen bag with information on the plants used and with samples of the plants contained within the spiral.
