Fertility and Abundance amulet with mistletoe leaves and apple seeds

This plaited straw spiral encases a blend of dried mistletoe and apple seeds to bring fertility and abundance to the wearer. Collected from a traditional orchard in North Somerset, both plants are connected in growth and have been used for centuries in folk magic to evoke fertility and abundance. Mistletoe was a sacred plant to the Druids, it's winter berries and green leaves has always associated the pant to fertility. The apple tree, with its fruitful annual harvest has long bee seen as the tree of abundance and fertility.

As the spiral is plaited from UK grown wheat straw, I add the blended herbs into the center of the spiral which then acts as the perfect capsule. The spiral is finished with a petal cap and hung around the neck with a waxed cotton cord, you can chose the colour of both in the ordering process.

The amulet is beautifully presented in a linen bag with information on the plants used and with samples of the plants contained within the spiral.
