Lancashire Fringe

The Lancashire Fringe is a traditional straw craft design. This version differs slightly from the traditional design as I plait the stems rather than weave them onto wire. The pieces measure approx 38cm in length and 30 in height and is made from 20 stems of golden Maris wigeon wheat straw.
The fringe is hung from a length of green cotton cord.
This piece is for indoors only as it is important to keep the piece dry and away from damp environments.
